They say that while prosperity teaches you little, adversity can teach you a lot. A living example of this maxim is the upcoming music sensation mims. As a young boy he did not even know his father and lost his mother when he was thirteen. Since then he had just one mission in life to make his mother proud with his music. It is a lot of struggle growing up like this but you learn a lot along the way and this agony is reflected through his music.

While he started out by playing music at clubs and on streets, soon he got a chance to tour with the Method Man. This was because his single “ I did you wrong” which came out in 2003 was creating waves on the music scene. His fan base increased on the tour. His second single, “this is why I am hot”, was a chart buster. Now he is coming back with his debut album “Music is my Savior”, an aptly named album. Another feather to his success hat is his very successful record label American King Music. This man is a must watch in 2007 and we can surely expect some gems out of him.
